MARK IV GEARTEC

This product has been DISCONTINUED and has been replaced with the SLIPSTREAM stainless steel 2 & 3 blade geared folding propeller

The Mark IV Geartec is available on a special order basis for specific applications

(2 ea.) Blades
(1 ea.) Hub
(2 ea.) Monel Pivot Pins
(1 ea.) Shaft Nut, Cap Screw, and lockwire
(8 ea.) Set screws

(some older models only have 4 set screws)

13/16" or 20mm Socket Wrench

(same as a standard sparkplug wrench)

Attach shaft nut supplied by Martec, cap screw (inserts in center of the nut) and secure both with lockwire.

Install blades & pivot pins to hub following the number correlation stamped on hub, blades, and pivot pin.

Install locking set screws into threaded holes located on aft end of hub.

Then install the longer set screws with tapered end before shorter length set screw. 

Make sure the threaded holes align with holes in pivot pins

(each pivot pin is tapered at the ends, so its correct position should be self evident).

Use (2) set screws in each hole.
